David Imbroscio is Professor in the Departments of Political Science and Urban and Public Affairs, where he directs the Ph.D. Program. He is author or editor of six books, including Urban America Reconsidered: Alternatives for Governance and Policy published by Cornell University Press in 2010, as well as approximately 40 academic articles or book chapters. He was the winner of the College of Arts and Sciences 2011 award for Outstanding Scholarship, Research, and Creative Activity in the Social Sciences at the University of Louisville and the 2012 Grawemeyer Award for Outstanding Instructional Development.
