Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Patrick C. Exmeyer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban and Public Affairs at the University of Louisville. His research focusing on whistleblowing in the public sector, public personnel management, organizational ethics, administrative law, and the characterization of administrators in popular culture has been featured in journals such as Review of Public Personnel Administration, Administration & Society, and Public Integrity. Prior to joining the University of Louisville, Dr. Exmeyer served as an Assistant Professor of Public Administration in the Department of Political Science at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Dr. Exmeyer has presented research findings and conceptual frameworks at multiple conferences affiliated with the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) at both the regional and national level, including ASPA Annual Conferences, the Southeastern Conference for Public Administration (SECoPA), and the Midwest Public Affairs Conference (MPAC). In addition to his research interests, Dr. Exmeyer teaches courses in the UPA Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program covering administrative ethics, qualitative research methods, program evaluation and policy analysis, as well as organizational leadership.
